Welcome to the Wolfsklamm Walk !
This time we are happy to tell you that the Wolfsklamm is officially OPEN ! A breathtaking walk that takes you through a dramatic gorge with peaceful alpine meadows, turquoise waters and cascading waterfalls, leading to Sankt Georgenberg abbey. Along the way, you’ll cross multiple bridges and climb wooden stairs. Perched on a rocky outcrop, the Georgenberg abbey is a place of spiritual significance and offers stunning panoramic views over the surrounding mountains.
The Wolfkslamm Walk is moderatly challenging with around 354 meters of elevation gain and takes about 2 hours to reach the abbey.

On top, there is also a small “Gasthaus” where you can enjoy traditional Tyrolean cuisine before heading back.

Meeting Point : Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof 

How to get there: We will take the S4 at 10:35 from the main train station to reach Stans (approx. 30 minutes) 

Entry fee (gorge maintenance) : 6€/person (4€/person for groups from 10 persons) 

Transport : 

—- INCLUDED : with your Semesterticket Tirol or Klimaticket Tirol U26 or Euroregio Ticket Students 

—- OTHERWISE : you will have to pay 17.40€ in total (8.70€ one-way) 

What to bring : 

  • Comfortable hiking shoes, sporty and warm clothes as the path could be slippery
  • Cash
  • Water
  • Food and your sense of adventure!
