You admire the mountain scenery surrounding Innsbruck? Have you already seen the city from high above? If so, once sure wasn’t enough, if not – what are you waiting for?
On the 24th of May we will take a walk to the "Höttinger Alm", coming across several spots to enjoy a splendid view of the city area. At the Alm itself we will have lunch or enjoy one of their delicious cakes.
It will take us roughly 2.5 hours to get there.
Let’s enjoy magnificent views along the way, reward ourselves with lunch or Höttinger Alm's iconic cakes and as a finale, a nice group picture!
When?
- Friday, 24 May, from 10 a.m. (meeting time) until around 4.30 p.m. (return at the Marktplatz. The return time isn’t fixed yet and will of course depend on how long we’re staying at the Alm).
Where do we meet up?
At the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl)
What do you need to bring?
- proper shoes (preferably hiking boots, or trainers)
- sun protection (sunscreen, protective clothing like caps, etc.)
- a bottle of water
- some snacks
- spare clothes (an additional shirt, etc.)
Please note that we highly recommend having prior experience of hiking for several hours.
