Spring is here! It’s time to let the dogs out (yes, it's always been us)! So once man's best friends are out again, how about spending some time with them ;)?
The ESN Innsbruck team is very happy to invite you to join us for a visit at the local animal shelter and have a walk with some of the dogs living there!
We will meet on Friday (06.05) at 08.40 a.m. in front of the ÖH Office (Josef-Hirn-Straße 7) and will take the bus to the shelter (10 min ride). You can also meet us directly at the shelter - but please inform us before! The address of the shelter is:”Völser Straße 55”.
We will form groups and each group will get a dog/dogs and have some time with it/them! The shelter has a couple of nice routes for having a walk with the dogs and each group will take one of the routes. We will have time until around 11.30 a.m. when the visiting hours of the shelter finish. After that we will take the bus back to the city center.
Registration: If you want to join us, please send us a short email to [email protected] (Keyword: SocialErasmus SoSe 2016) Include your name and whether you speak German or not (it is not mandatory but it would be helpful for organizational purposes :) ).
Hurry up! Places are limited – first come, first serve. We will contact you back to confirm your registration.
This event is part of the project SocialErasmus. This is an international project by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) which promotes a social attitude among young citizens participating in mobility programs, to facilitate their integration into the local community while gives them the chance to make a long lasting social change in society through volunteering activities. The project goes under the slogan: Leave your mark!
Twice a year all Erasmus sections across Europe organize the so called SocialErasmus Week. During these weeks, international and Erasmus students can participate together with ESN members in these events and show their support and engagement to different social causes.
